One Part Gin is a contemporary dark folk band from ballarat/creswick. 

One Part Gin blends beautiful harmonies with dark tales, weaving interlocking narratives of unlikely heroes, doomed love and broken hearts. Described as ‘pioneer music’ and soaked in sorrow, their songs draw on the shadows of early settler life, where survival, loss and longing are at the forefront. Acoustic textures, haunting melodies and intertwined vocals pull listeners into black waters where love clings like seaweed around your ankles. But don’t let the darkness fool you. Beneath the grief there stirs the salty current of hope, carrying stories towards the light.

One Part Gin have performed at the Newstead Folk Festival, CresFest, the Newport Folk Festival, Goldfields Gothic Festival Of Dark Ideas and the Ballarat Begonia Festival.

They gig regularly around Victoria.
