who the hell?

One Part Gin is a contemporary folk band from regional Victoria. 

The 3MDR radio crew describe our sound as 'pioneer music'. 

With a heavy emphasis on interweaving narratives, the astute listener will recognise recurring characters, objects and events that tie our songs together.  One Part Gin listeners are immersed in a unique world where the tragic and the macabre are saved by unrelenting love and light. 

They have been finalists in the Maldon Folk Festival's Roddy Read Songwriting Competition two years in a row.  Other gig experiences include the Newstead Folk Festival, Maldon Gothic Festival, CresFest, the Ballarat Art Gallery and Begonia Festival.  You will find them playing in venues across Victoria. One Part Gin are collaborating with producer, Richard Pleasance, to release their first studio album.
