​One Part Gin is the fever-dream of Sam Bell, born beneath the beating sun at Newstead Chopped Festival. With a mind bent toward the macabre, he summoned long-time friend Holly Sewell, and together they've been crafting twisted folk tales for over a decade. Inspired by Tom Waits and Nick Cave, their songs bleed with lonely souls, haunted places, and memories better left buried. Each track is a fragmented puzzle — a cursed family tree begging to be unearthed. Dark, gritty, and soaked in sorrow, their music drags you into black waters where love clings like seaweed around your ankles. Collaborating with producer Richard Pleasance only sharpened their knives. One Part Gin now haunts stages across regional Victoria — from gothic festivals to quiet galleries.
